Abstract
The repurposing of existing drugs for new therapeutic applications has gained significant attention as a cost-effective and time-efficient strategy to identify novel treatments for various diseases. In recent years, there has been growing interest in exploring the potential of antifungal drugs as anticancer agents due to their shared mechanisms of action and promising preclinical evidence.
This review article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the literature surrounding the repurposing of antifungal drugs for cancer treatment. A thorough literature search was conducted to identify relevant studies, and the findings are summarized herein.
